Visit Seattle - Little Seattle Libraries

To promote tourism to book-loving Seattle - and to celebrate National Literacy Month, we installed a series of Seattle themed Little Free Libraries in Boston, Austin, and Chicago. The charming, funky libraries were filled with books from Seattle authors, fiction set in Seattle, even cookbooks from hot Seattle chefs. Bookmarks invited people to grab a book, then return it in person when they come to Seattle for a visit.

Partnering with bookworm influencers, we asked potential visitors to post their favorite Seattle book with the hashtag #SeattleStory. For each post, Visit Seattle made a donation to Little Free Libraries to build more libraries to underserved communities.
